Thorne-Rider Youth Camp
A year round camping experience.
The Thorne-Rider Camp is a sixty-acre area located two miles from Story, Wyoming in a picturesque location with ever changing seasonal beauty. The camp is near the Story Fish Hatchery and South Piney Creek Canyon.
Camping facilities – The large lodge has a meeting hall, fireplace, kitchen, a small game room or sleeping room and two rest rooms with showers. In addition, there are campsites, rest rooms, fire rings and an open-air chapel with rustic seating for approximately 100.
Location – Take the paved Fish Hatchery Road out of Story; 1/8th of a mile before the Fish Hatchery take Thorne-Rider Road to the Camp (physical address: 60 Thorne-Rider Road, Story, WY 82842).
